Six Months Old!

It's hard to believe that 1/2 a year has gone by since our little Chandler was born. He has brought so much love and joy to our family. We couldn't be happier! He has certainly been fun, and is getting more and more fun as time goes by. As you can see, he is sitting up on his own now. And he's army crawling all over the place. It won't be long before he is crawling for real. He also has two teeth. He doesn't like rice cereal yet and gags on it every time we try to feed it to him. But he does seem to want to eat food, just off of mom or dad's plate. :) He is a very happy baby and loves to smile. But we still have a hard time getting a laugh out of him. Even so, we will keep him just the way he is. We love this little boy!

Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a happy and safe halloween. We had a halloween party with all the Neff family at our house and it was tons of fun! The kids loved having their cousins over. The games and food were great! Thanks to everyone who helped out.

Walk to the temple.

I love living so close to the temple. A couple of days ago the weather was really great so we decided to take a family walk up the hill to the temple. It is so awesome to be able to walk there and enjoy the beauty of the temple.

My little thumb sucker!

I've never had a thumb sucker before. All my kids have on occasion sucked on their hands/fingers. Mostly when they were teething. But my little Chan Man is truly a thumb sucker. He will suck on his thumb to fall asleep even. Which is great because he doesn't take a binky anymore. And I also just think it's stinkin' cute!

New bunk bed!

Garrett got a new bunk bed. He absolutely loves it, and Hailey does too. She's slept in his room with him since we put it together a few days ago. Now that he is almost five it was time to get him a bigger bed. And although it will be a while before Chandler can sleep in it, we decided it would be best to get the bunk bed now. And since Hailey has been sleeping on the bottom bunk, it's getting more use than I had thought it would. I'm glad that it's been such a big hit!

Can it really be 5 month already?

It is hard to believe but my baby really is 5 months old today. Where has the time gone? I can't believe how much Chandler has grown and changed. He weighs about 16 pounds now and is doing so many things. He smiles all the time, although we still can't get him to laugh. I guess he is too cool for that! He rolls over and he's already getting on his hands and knees wanting to crawl. And he's had his first hair cut too.

We sure do love this little boy! He has brought so much joy to our home. The kids all love him, especially Maizie. Every time we lay him on the floor she makes he way over to him and tries to grab him, or lick him (gross I know, but it's kinda her thing). Don't know what we would do without ya Chan Man. Love ya little buddy!
