Weekend with friends!

This weekend we had a good friend of ours come to visit. Tyler went to high school with both Jeremy and I. We don't get to see him very often anymore since we now live in different states, so we were really excited to have him here for the weekend. And what's more, he brought his three kids with him! Hailey and Garrett were so excited to have friends to play with all weekend! They could hardly wait for them to get here! It was a fun weekend, and all the kids got along really well. I was impressed. In three days we only had a couple of scuffles and that was it! I even watched all six kids by myself a couple of times so the boys could go ride mountain bikes together. (Something that Jeremy is now obsessing over)! It was a really wonderful weekend. On Monday we took Tyler and his kids out to one of our favorite places, Red Rock. We all had fun hiking and digging in the dirt. After which we enjoyed a picnic lunch. A very fun outing that we'll have to do again next time they visit. And hopefully next time Margot will be able to come too. As long as she isn't 7 months prego again! We are so glad you came to visit! We will miss you Hoyts! Jeremy, Meg and Maizie taking a rest in the shade.
Daddy, Garrett, and Maizie. Check out Garrett's smile, isn't it cute!?
Our beautiful Hailey, her shirt says it all!
The beautiful Claire Mae. She is one smart kid!
The Hoyts! Claire Mae, Madeline, Tyler, and Micah. All the kids (minus Maizie) hiked to the top of this rock.
Tyler showing the kids a bug, they thought it was awesome!
And our little Maizie taking a break in the shade, trying to decide if she should wake up or go back to sleep.

Very cool. Great minds think alike! Funny how we keep running into commonalities with one another. Glad you enjoyed your weekend Meg. Keep in touch.
